ALICE 4
The fourth-generation ALICE biped from Ansan startup AeiROBOT, a Hanyang University spin-off. Instead of geared rotary joints it uses the company's own 200-400 W linear actuators, and it carries a dexterous hand; AeiROBOT aims it at shipyards and building sites with ladders and stairs, with commercial factory use targeted for 2028.

The parts the company has talked about publicly.
- Movement
- Walks on legs
- Actuators & motors
- AeiROBOT's own linear actuators, developed over about three years, in a 200-400 W range; the 400 W unit can lift a 30 kg dumbbell. Several actuators per leg allow running as well as walking.
- Hands
- High-DoF arm with a dexterous hand.
- Sensors & vision
- Vision-based perception (no hardware named).
- AI & software
- On-device AI and LLM-based recognition; NVIDIA GR00T foundation model combined with AeiROBOT's own motion-augmentation method.
- Other details
- Shown at FIX 2025 in Daegu working with the wheeled ALICE M1 to move bins between a conveyor and shelves. Chosen for a Korean regulatory sandbox for on-site field tests.
