Why it matters

During RIMPAC 2026 a GARC carried out the type's first destructive one-way strike, on the decommissioned USS Peleliu.

Real-world use

Fielded by the US Navy from 2023 with USV squadrons; on 17 July 2026 a GARC struck ex-USS Peleliu in a RIMPAC sinking exercise. BlackSea says its Baltimore line builds about one unit per day.
