Why it matters

One of the first purpose-built six-seat robotaxis with no steering wheel or pedals to reach pre-production.

Real-world use

A small batch of pre-commercial vehicles was built before GM paused production in November 2023; GM scrapped the Origin in mid-2024, and a planned Honda service in Tokyo did not go ahead.
