Kawasaki's Robust Humanoid Platform; the team has worked on it since 2015. The 7th-generation version shown at iREX 2022 weighs 80 kg, walks at 4 km/h, balances on a beam and can strike metal bars with its fists; handlers kept tether ropes attached during demos. A smaller 55 kg sibling, Friends, was built for safe interaction with people.
