Why it matters
Plus earlier ran what it called the first cross-country commercial freight trip by a self-driving truck, carrying butter from California to Pennsylvania in 2019 with a safety driver.
Real-world use
Since November 2025 runs a daily 600-mile I-35 loop between Ryder sites in Laredo and Temple, Texas with a safety driver; PlusAI reports 92% autonomous coverage (July 2026). SuperDrive is also in a Southern Europe programme with IVECO and Sese.
