Why it matters

Waabi trains and validates its driver largely in a generative-AI simulator, and says this cut the time to open a new lane from about three months to three weeks.

Real-world use

Hauls freight for logistics firm Warp on the Dallas-Houston corridor and has run Dallas-San Antonio, with an observer on board; Waabi targets driverless operation once Volvo begins installing its system, reported for Q1 2027.
