π0 (pi-zero) and π0-FAST
A general robot-control model that pairs a vision-language model with a 'flow matching' action generator so it can output smooth, fast motions. Shown in October 2024 on single-arm, two-arm and mobile robots doing tasks like folding laundry. In early 2025 Physical Intelligence released the weights and code as openpi under Apache 2.0, together with π0-FAST, a variant that turns actions into tokens.
