March 2025 pair of models built on Gemini 2.0. Gemini Robotics outputs robot actions directly; Gemini Robotics-ER is a spatial-reasoning model that robot makers can connect to their own controllers. Trained mainly on the two-arm ALOHA 2 platform and also run on a Franka two-arm setup and Apptronik's Apollo humanoid. Early testers included Agile Robots, Agility Robotics, Boston Dynamics and Enchanted Tools.
